From this piece, you will learn how traders can manage and update their copytrading profile settings to better present themselves on the Leaderboard and attract new investors. Managing settings properly promises more clear communication with potential investors and full control over your copytrading experience.
Information Set When Attaching a Trading Account
When initially attaching a trading account to the JustMarkets Copytrading service, the trader can set the following:
- Profile photo.
- Nickname (set once for all accounts and cannot be changed manually).
- Commission rate (from 0% to 50%).
- Enable Trial Period — allows new investors to copy trades without paying commission for the first 7 days.
- Strategy description — explanation of your trading approach.
- Link to public chat — optional link to a social media group or channel for communicating with investors.
All this information is displayed on the Leaderboard to help investors choose traders to copy.
How To Edit Trader Profile Settings
To update your settings:
- Visit the Trader Area.
- Select the trading account you wish to edit.
- Click the blue gear button next to the account.
- You can then modify the following:
- Upload or change your Photo.
- Adjust the Commission percentage.
- Enable or disable the Trial Period.
- Update the Strategy Description.
- Add or edit the Link to Public Chat.
- Exclude the account from the Copytrading section if necessary.
Note: Changes will apply only to new investors. For existing investors who are already copying your trades, the previous conditions will remain unchanged.
How to Change a Nickname
Changing your nickname is a manual process. We recommend doing it only if absolutely necessary, as it may cause confusion among your current investors.
To request a nickname change:
- Send an email to support@justmarkets.com with the subject "Nickname Change" and include a clear reason for the request.
- Make sure your Identity and Residence documents are verified.
- Your new nickname must not contain any illegal, offensive, or inappropriate content.
Note: Changing the nickname will apply to all of your trading accounts connected to copytrading.
