Spread is a fundamental concept in trading that represents the difference between the bid price (the price at which you can sell) and the ask price (the price at which you can buy) of a trading instrument. Essentially, the spread is the cost of trading, and it can vary depending on market conditions and the broker you trade with.

- News Releases: Major economic news releases can cause spreads to widen as the market reacts to new information.
- Unexpected Economic Events: Sudden and unforeseen events can impact the spread significantly.
- Market Opening or Closing (Daily Rollover): Spreads can widen during the market opening or closing periods due to lower liquidity.
