Navigating through different types of passwords for each account can be overwhelming. This article will guide you through the various passwords and explain their purposes and security measures.
1. Personal Area (PA) Password:
- Purpose: Used to log into your Personal Area.
- Management: If you need to reset or recover your PA password, please refer to our detailed guide on how to restore your PA password.
2. Trading Account Main Password:
- Purpose: Used to log into MetaTrader; unique for each trading account, whether real or demo.
- Details: You set this password during the creation of your trading account. Please note, for security reasons, this password is not sent via email. At the same time you have the opportunity to change your password by clicking “Change password” at the “My account” section.
3. Trading Account Investor Password:
- Purpose: Allows read-only access to MetaTrader; unique for each trading account, real or demo. With this password, you will not be able to make operations such as opening and closing orders.
- Setup: This password can only be set or changed by modifying the investor account password in your Personal area. It is also not sent via email.
4. PIN Code
Purpose: PIN is used to confirm sensitive operations such as opening a Welcome account, Password changes, Withdrawals, or some Deposit creation.
Receiving Methods: It can be delivered via Email or SMS, with Email being the default method for all users. Traders can switch the method of receiving the PIN between SMS and Email.
Note: This PIN is only for validation and not a confirmation code. It’s essential for validating the phone number so the client can successfully initiate a deposit request.
Clients can't log into the following accounts through the Personal Area:
- IB Account: Used to store IB commission.
- Trader Wallet: Holds commission for copytrading.
- Investor Wallet: Used for depositing funds for further investment into copytrading and stores the profit from copying the Trader.
To ensure the security of your accounts, all passwords must meet the following criteria:
- Length: 8 to 15 characters.

- At least one number (0-9).
- At least one special character (!$&_()+,'-./:;<=>?@[\]^{|}~).
- Both lowercase and uppercase Latin letters.
- At least three unique characters.

To protect your JustMarkets account, we highly advise you to create strong passwords and never share them with anybody.
Note: For security reasons, passwords that you have set up are not delivered to your email. Therefore, keep a record of them in a safe location.
