In JustMarkets, a PIN code is used for various non-trading operations such as deposits, withdrawals, and password changes. When you initiate one of these actions in your Personal Area, you can receive a PIN code by clicking the "Get a code" button. The code can be sent via email or SMS, with the default method set to email for all users.
How to Change the Method of PIN Code Sending
To change the method of receiving your PIN code from email to SMS or vice versa, follow these steps:
1. Log into Your Personal Area. Access your JustMarkets account and enter your credentials to log in.
2. Go to Settings. Navigate to the settings section within your Personal Area.
3. Choose the Security Settings Section. In the settings menu, select "Security settings."
4. Select Your Preferred Method of PIN Code Sending:
- You will see options to receive the PIN code via "My Email" or "My Mobile Phone Number (via SMS)."
- Click the "Get a code" button next to the Confirmation Code field.
5. Enter the Confirmation Code:
- You will receive a confirmation code either to your mobile phone number or email address.
- Enter the received code into the Confirmation Code field and click "Change
Troubleshooting PIN Code Issues
If You Cannot Receive a PIN Code via SMS:
1. Check the Correctness of Your Phone Number. Ensure the telephone number you registered with is correct.
2. Restart Your Telephone. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve the issue.
3. Delete Old Messages. Clear old messages to free up space for new incoming SMS.
If You Cannot Receive a PIN Code via Email:
1. Restart Your Email Service and Browser. Refresh your email service and restart your browser.
2. Wait for a Few Minutes. Sometimes, there can be a delay in receiving the email.
3. Check All Mail Folders. Look in the "All mail," "Spam," and "Promotions" folders.
4. Free Up Space. Ensure your inbox has enough space to receive new emails.
5. Try a Different Browser. Sometimes, switching browsers can resolve the issue.
