Commission Calculation Formulas
1. Forex, Metals (except XAUUSD, XAGUSD), Oils, Exotics.
Formula:
Commission = Lot Size × 6.
Examples:
EURUSD.s at 1.16541 with Volume 0.05 lot:
Commission = 0.05 × 6 = 0.3 USD.
XAUUSD.s at 2,380.71 with Volume 0.50 lot:
Commission = 0.50 × 7 = 3.5 USD.
Note: The commission is multiplied by $6 because it includes $3 for opening and $3 for closing the order.
2. Indices.
Formula:
Commission = Lot Size × Commission Value
Example:
AU200 at 6,945.8 with Volume 2.5 lot:
Commission = 2.5 × 1 = 2.5 USD.
